On this traditional Blandyke Sunday, the Boarders were able to invite their brothers and sisters from the College for a sumptuous  lunch prepared by our fantastic catering staff.  After a leisurely morning with mass in "home clothes" in the SMH chapel at 11:30 am, we all sat down to a great lunch in the SMH refectory.  Several family members from the College joined us for Mass and for lunch and their visits were greatly appreciated by the Boarders.

The previous day had been a busy one with many of our Boarders involved in a the rugby matches against K.E.Q.M.  In the evening we travelled to the inimitable Longridge cinema to see the new "Narnia" movie.   The later Sunday morning routine was much appreciated by all, as the hugely enjoyable film ran on until after 9:30 pm and minibuses ferried the Boarders back shortly afterwards for an extended bed time.

After the Blandykes lunch we all went on a bracing walk across the fields to Hurst Green.  The intention was to work off the beef and the Black Forest Gateau to which we had all so loyally applied ourselves at lunchtime.  However, the Boarders enjoyed a lengthy stop at the village store for provisions and this rapidly put paid to any wishful thinking.
