First of all ... a very Happy New Year from us all here at SMH.

Strictly speaking, there are very few of us here at SMH at the moment.  The weather has conspired to snow people in at home and to make the approach roads to the school difficult to negotiate.  As a consequence, SMH is closed for the time being,  but do keep an eye on the News Page here and an ear for your message tone on your mobile as a Groupcall text comes through.

Despite freezing temperatures and slippery surfaces, the snow has transfomed SMH into a Christmas card splendour.  Just have a look at the photographs.  In the meantime, your scribe is off for a spot of sledging on Paradise Hill.
