A statue of St Ignatius for SMH.
Seńor Ginés Serrán Pagán, the world famous sculptor, has just completed two statues of St Ignatius Loyola in bronze. One is destined for the Vatican and the other for SMH. The statue is 1.2m tall and will stand on a plinth of similar height. As you can imagine, we are all very excited about this and we are hoping the statue will be in place by the new entrance in September. The photographs below show the final processes involved in the moulding and casting of the statue at Sr. Serrán's workshop in China.
