| From St. Mary's Hall Website General News The IAPS North West Cross Country took place on the Stonyhurst Park Golf Club and the weather conditions were of the type commonly described as "atrocious".
The competitors, however, seemed to be indifferent to the driving rain and took part with great enthusiasm. It was a day of much success for SMH. The senior girls retained the title for the third year in succession (with SMH taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd places) and the senior boys won their race, too. An enormous thank you must go to all who organised the tournament and to the officials and spectators, who showed commendable forbearance as their wellies gradually filled with water.
