Mrs Catherine Robinson, Head of English writes,

"At the small Library Theatre in Manchester, St. Mary's Hall's pupils were almost a quarter of the audience at the recent production of Great Expectations. This fast moving and imaginative production held pupils and staff in its thrall, and after the play, several audience members complimented the pupils on their conduct. It's gratifying that others recognise the good manners, concentration and sense of occasion exhibited by our young people, maintained after a long day of studying."
