| From St. Mary's Hall Website General News Dr Chadwick writes. "On Monday 21st September, SMH took part in a huge global event, the Global Climate Wake-Up Call. The aim of the day was to raise awareness about climate change and there were 2632 events organised in 134 countries worldwide. To show that we care for the many trees on the Stonyhurst estate, former St. Mary’s Hall Headmaster, Mr Peter Anwyl, made a gift of a large oak tree in front of SMH and passed it on to Nancy Brown, the youngest member of Hodder House. The tree had been wrapped by Figures pupils and was opened enthusiastically by Nancy’s classmates."
