Election fever hits SMH
Election fever has gripped SMH and parliamentary campaigns are being mounted by many candidates to capture the votes of their peers. When the country goes to the polls, SMH will also, with the Tolkien Library becoming the polling station for the day. This is not being taken as just a bit of fun either. All the candidates take their roles very seriously and are fully aware of all parts of their manifestos, a fact which was amply demonstrated recently in front of the school and the actual candidates for the Ribble Valley constituency. So impressive were the speeches, that Nigel Evans MP stood to congratulate the SMH candidates on their performances. Incidentally, our current SMH Prime Minister, Catriona Graffius, who was successful during the last election, is now in Rhetoric at the College.
