The General Election at SMH

No such thing as a hung parliament at SMH: the Conservative candidate for SMH Central swept to power with a landslide victory.  The other candidates performed well, however and captured lots of votes, too.  They are all to be congratulated for their efforts over the last few days and for the way they have raised awareness around SMH of important policy issues.

The candidates wait in anticipation as the Returning Officer for SMH reads out the results. Will anyone lose their deposit? The candidates from the last General Election, including the out-going SMH PM, Catriona G, give their support.

The winner, Giles, makes a well-prepared acceptance speech and will now occupy the SMH No 10 until the next election. Your scribe has heard his policy to provide cakes at 1st Rec every day has been welcomed by the electorate.
